Artwork Leasing

Leasing of artwork is an innovative solution that has been widely embraced in many markets, particularly in corporate or institutional settings. When the need for important wall hangings or sculpture is recognized, but the budget limits capital spending, leasing can be an answer. Artwork can also be installed under a program where it is periodically rotated--keeping important spaces fresh and dynamic. Leasing can enable clients to try several pieces for an extended period, getting a feel for the effect the work creates. Should a client fall in love with a piece, the lease can be extended, or the piece purchased, with a portion of the rental outlay credited upon sale. Leasing can also be a value when staging high-end real estate for the market, or setting a posh event or other temporary installation. Sophiella Gallery works with clients to find innovative ways to place artwork under terms that work for them.
