David Rojas is a Spanish artist born in 1994 and currently based in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Rooted in graffiti, his multidisciplinary practice spans painting, collage, silkscreen printing, and drawing. Through cutting, layering, erasure, and the reassembly of found imagery, Rojas creates compositions that explore the instability of images in contemporary visual culture.

Inspired by the concept of photo-trouvé, Rojas recontextualizes imagery from everyday life to create autonomous visual scenes in which figuration and abstraction collide. His ongoing series, POORTREAT, reimagines the tradition of portraiture through fragmented and incomplete forms, examining the tension between recognition and uncertainty and the shifting ways identity and representation are experienced today. His work has been recognized with the Marbella Crea First Prize for Young Plastic Arts and an Accessit Award from the Image of the Sanitary City Project of Jaén.
