Each stroke with a brush, line with a pencil, and choice of color is deliberate. After all, random is not random for long. I chose to write as a vocation and paint as an avocation. I find both pursuits to be nearly identical in process. I learned to take what I could from words and pictures. It is often easier for me to understand an abstraction than a fact.”
